Gulf Coast SMMC Meeting

What do we mean when we say Driver and Technician Fitness? We meet (sometimes stretch) hiring requirements, take a physical, pass a drug test, complete all the paperwork and complete orientation, BAM!!, your hired. With the challenges companies face today, many of our members say it's time to look at our processes and systems to be sure we have the most "continuously" qualified and defendable drivers and tech's. Do we just fill positions at times or are we diligent with our hiring, retention, and policy and procedure standards. Our goal for our February is to provide valuable information that will hopefully enhance your current programs. Please be ready to share some of your company's techniques that are successful in providing long-term drivers and tech's.
