Per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations, any driver operting a commercial motor vehicle must have a complete Driver Qualification (DQ) file maintained by the motor carrier. Vehicle equipment and specifications are continually changing, and brake systems have improved tremendously in recent years.  Not many years ago we didn't even consider some of the options available regarding brake systems on large trucks. Disc brakes are somewhat still new to the industry and bring challenges of their own, and Hendrickson Corporation will provide information during our meeting regarding disc brak systems on large trucks.
