Safety and Maintenance 102-Birmingham
The Safety and Maintenance 102 session will build from the Safety and Maintenance 101 session and become more detailed in items such as SMS prioritization and roadside inspection trend tracking. This will be an excellent opportunity for both new and experienced safety and maintenance personnel to understand why you are inspected, and how to reduce the chances of receiving a roadside inspection which will ultimately reduce your SMS scores. Additionally, we will be focusing on more detailed principles of fleet maintenance to include best practices and potential pitfalls within safety and maintenance programs
This meeting will include insight from Clinton Seymour (ATA’s Senior Director of Safety Intelligence) on inspection prioritization of enforcement officials and trend tracking within the SMS data system. The meeting will also include insights from top industry fleet maintenance professionals on how to achieve strong inspection outcomes and improve vehicle fleet efficiency.
Safety and Maintenance 102 will build-up session 101's baseline safety and maintenance programs and practices, to a more in-depth session on how to navigate the regulatory world.
